Day Three

After making the connection between a song from the Philippines and America yesterday morning, I was so intrigued by them that I thought I should look at the music and see what else they had in common, also can be referred to as a musical link. I couldn't post anything last night, because I was so exhausted from being out in the sun all day! However, after a good night's rest, I can post about these two great songs!
Both songs share a musical link in which they both conjunct (a musical term that describes the melody), as well as they are written in 4/4 time, also known as common time or simple quadruple meter, where the top number (4) indicates that there are 4 beats per measure, and the bottom note (4) indicates that the quarter note gets the beat. Another musical link would that the medium of the two songs are both vocal.
Harmony-wise, they both are in major keys, although the musical difference would be that "America, the Beautiful is in the key of Bb major, while "Leron Leron Sinta" is in the key of C major. Another musical difference is that "America, the Beautiful" is in the English language, while "Leron Leron Sinta" is in the language of Tagalog.
Another musical link would be that these two songs are homophonic, I'm which they have one melody line with chordal accompaniment, where "Amerixa , the beautiful" has melody performed with vocals (soprano, alto, tenor, and bass) with piano accompaniment, while "Leron Leron Sinta" is performed with one melody with  a vocal and a type of string instrument, such as guitar or ukulele.
Oops, I have to get ready to pack up to go back home. I'll post when I'm at the airport!
